Kenneth Walker Xs and Os 2022 - Just think this is a cool card - always liked these helmet shaped cards and have some of the older sets

Jaxon Smith-Njigba - Panini Instant 2023 - Finally getting some "real" cards Right before he got to meet DW who was excited the Seahawks drafted this guy

Tariq Woolen and Kenneth Walker - Panini Instant 2022 - One of the better looking subsets they did "last" year

Russell Wilson Press Pass 2012 auto inscription - Finally picked up one of these after his cards have dropped so much, I know some people don't like Press pass - but I've got lots of PP going back to 1996!

Rashaad Penny 2018 Instant access - like his nicely slanted auto, bonus points since its on fabric, and a lot of autos look bad on fabric

Having worked for Disney - can confirm - when they decide to axe your whole team.............. no warning!

When my whole team got let go - they marched us in a conference room - shut the doors and had us sit for a few so we could wonder what was happening, then multiple HR people came in and started talking severance packages.

Rashaad Penny Immaculate eye black 2018 - Just think the eye black cards are cool - if you're going to do sticker autos - come up with a cool gimmick... and can't go wrong with the serial number

Kenneth Walker III Sage Peak Performance - usually one of the better looking Sage subsets each year

Steve Hutchinson Instant Access 2020 - Had this in my watchlist for awhile and one was finally listed - got lucky as it was an underpriced "buy it now" and no one scooped it up till I saw it the next morning. Its weird because seller listed a bunch of these Instant Access autos, and most of the rest where correctly priced or on the high side....

With the throwbacks looking so great, its inspired me to look thru a lot of my 80s/90s cards.

This came with a pizza, so they are supposed to smell/taste like a pizza, right?

I swear I can almost taste the sauce on Patrick Hunter.

And Bobby Joe got a little dab of grease when he got checked out along with the hot sausage pizza.

Is that a bit of petrified cheese on Alonzo?

Largent still looks sharp though (as in possibly trimmed)

I have a nicer set, but sometimes its fun to collect in "original" condition.'






Definitely better then reading news about the Seahawks having the only unsigned pick with training camp starting today.

Unless he has another of these local type of broadcaster cards or he was in one of the random broadcaster trivia sets from the 80s/90s, it may be his only card. I have a number of these types of cards including Seahawks great Ahmad Rashad.

Also and in a similar vein, so far I have found 3 Paul Allen cards from when he owned the Portland Trailblazers.

I know a lot of people complain about cards in college uniforms, but I like them.... I have thousands and thousands of Seahawks cards in Seahawks unis, so its a different look seeing them in different colors.... I just consider them "Pre" Seahawks cards..... Afteralll would you rather have a Jimmy Graham rookie in a Saints uni or college uni.

Charly Martin. Now that's a name I've not heard in a long time.

When I looked him up - he reminded me of Deejay Dallas - with the big smile in the profile pic.... I didn't know that was a tradition going back that far.


Although I forgot to list it as an option, but hopefully Chad Bobo can be the new Freddie Swain this year.... I think the "Big 3" WR will get so much attention - maybe he can get a few of those receptions like Swain did where no defender was within 20 yards of him....

My friend I watched the Seahawks vs. Dallas game with, thought Jake's new nickname was hilarious, and started calling him "Chad Ocho Cinco" after the big catch and getting a safety.

So even I am starting to think Leaf is many toooo maaaaany 1/1s --- it getting to where if it's not a 1/1 it seems like its a base card. Opening this eBay package sure felt like Sunday's game.

First half of the package opened smoothly and I could tell my item was going to be good!

Took a break in the middle to hydrate.

Started on the 2nd half and saw a flash of neon green and started thinking "BONUS CARD(s)!" yah!

pulled out my item

well packed... a little too well packed

Bonus card turned out to be Jamal Adams used as packing material.

Yes that's blue tape on Jamal

Tape came off ok, so it looks like Jamal may be recovered and made it to the PC anyways.

Hope next week is better. (or whenever he and Witherspoon are back)

I hadn't watched this before(first Seahawk to win?), but I disagree that Charbs runs angry (I know he won) - I got way more Beastmode vides from him, then an angry runner.

Beastmode used to do those awesome runs, and then just get up laughing and smiling.

Charbs after he trucked that guy, just strikes a pose, and looks like "Did I do that?". Was more reminiscent of Marshawn standing by the goal line as he scored.

Excited about Leonard Williams pickup - PC upping his quota of USC alums. Hopefully balls out for the rest of the year. Actually collected him a bit in 2015, he was in a lot of the same sets as Lockett.

Byron Maxwell panini instant 1 of 1, not sure how I missed it originally as he has so few cards. Listed on eBay as his only Dolphins card, but talks about his time in Seattle on the back of the card.
Side not, but seller included a really nice packet of mostly Dolphins rookies and oddball as a bonus, I don't collect Dolphins, but I like picking up at least one rookie card of non-Seahawks and there were a quite a few I had never seen before in it.
One of the best bonuses I've ever had included in an eBay lot. Almost as good as the dealer that thru in a couple of Lockett rookies in an order

Zach Charbonnet - metal, showing off his new quicker sig - kinda looks like a lightning bolt. I approve, its better then him getting a fumble from hand cramps trying to sign his old sig 1000x. His old sig looks really tedious to sign many times. And at least he didn't go with a check mark.

Side note for fantasy football people

I'm in a 16 team league and so there is really no one available to pick up on a week by week basis unless you get lucky.

So started Jake "Chad Ocho Cinco" Bobo and JSN who both had a TD - Noice! and got my 1st win

FF is funny, have basically the same team in both leagues (Josh Allen and a bunch of Seahawks) 1-7 in one league and first in my other league.

The Season has been solid so far this year.

Happy to see the Seahawks do something free agent wise and bolster that D-Line grabbing Williams.

Bobo has been outstanding...curious to see how much his 1st autos are going to go for. I could see some ridiculous amount and then be 80% cheaper a few releases later.

I really dig Charbonet's running style. A human wreckingball at full speed. Great contrast to Walker.

I would like to see them get more creative in the redzone or use DK/Bobo's height/size advantages. Geno needs to learn how to throw it away down there too when a field goal is a viable option. To many sacks/ints in those crucial moments.

Geno has really regressed this season after a good start. I'm not sure wtf happened in Baltimore today but they looked like a tanking team this week lol. quite bad.

agree that Bobo has been such a bright spot among the rollercoaster thus far. his blocking is highly underrated as well, imo. i don't like all the hot take comparisons to angry doug he gets, just cus he's a udfa too and playing well... pump the brakes big on that

i think everyone knows Geno isn't the guy to get them past maybe a wild card game + 1 if they're fortunate. Interesting to see if they run it back the same next year too.

Seahawks are still a playoff team - I hate the Ravens as a matchup for the Seahawks. Sometimes it goes that way. It's one game.

SO my friend and I were talking this last weekend about how the playoffs started Monday for the Seahawks.....

And while we both agreed they would likely beat the Eagles on Monday(which they did), and likely win 3 of 4 the rest of the way.

We are worried they will lose to the Cardinals when Murray goes down early and whoever they have left as the backup (Wentz???) comes in and has the game of his life. Because that seems to be how the last couple years have gone. And then they will need Detroit to win in the last game of the season to get in.

Also - Drew Lock forever..... or at least until tomorrow when Geno comes back.

I know a lot of people don't like the combine cards, but this is one of my favorites, DK arching his eyebrow as if he knows he got this catch.

Feels like a major win for the Seahawks to me. Obviously don't know what the future holds, but seems nice getting the guy JS clearly wanted. Who was also the top coordinator candidate.

And he already got a hug from Mike Morris! I know by the time I was Mike's age, I'd had a lot of coaches in a lot of sports, and not a lot of them I would have hugged, so that is definitely a good sign players like him.

My buddy who roots for the WTFs not happy, told me the Seahawks stole their guy. Maybe Quinn can help them beat up on the Cowboys though with his insider knowledge though.

I'm calling TOP 3 offseason so far for Seahawks(let's see who they get for OC/DC)
along with Lions(retained Johnson)
and Chargers(I think Harbs turns them around - WILL CHARGERS MAKE IT A THREE-PETE ON #WINNING the off season? their last 2 offseasons where great)

I'm happy with the coaching decision...Defensive mind and young. I'm glad they moved on from Clint Hurtt at D coordinator. When he switched the scheme to a 3-4 instead of 4-3 2 seasons ago they couldn't stop the run. Then he goes out and brings back Reed, Wagner, and adds Williams when a good 3-4 is dependent on having a great nose tackle...made no sense imo. Shame too because I believe they would have been a playoff team had they stayed at a 4-3.

I still think this team has a long off season to go before making any predictions. Only 4 mill in cap space, BWagz and Brooks both free agents, Fant and Parkinson are free agents, Lockett and Adams contracts are too big of a cap hit to keep. Don't even know who the starting QB will be and Lock is a FA aswell. Could be a mess if there isn't some restructuring going on.
