Nice try, the only people trying to defend the vultures back then are vultures themselves.
Bringing up the players themselves here is irrelevant, everyone selling cards then obviously knew newbies were being gouged. Furthermore, Sosa and McGwire RCs are back to $5 adjusted for inflation.
