Heritage Auctions Selling Trimmed PSA 10 Lebron UD Finite RC AU, PSA 10 Luka Next Day

Heritage Auctions AKA "The New PWCC" continues to accept consignments from card trimmers. The PSA 10 Luka Next Day was consigned to them by Kevin Burge (the raw, untrimmed card was purchased by his cardcontractor eBay account from eBay user anthonyh6009 on 1/6/19 for $1,325) and I suspect that the Lebron Finite was as well. Buyer beware when bidding on auctions from Heritage.

Minimally the left and bottom edges have been trimmed; I can't tell on the others, however the card is massively undersized.

This is the reason why I am reluctant in selling my pack pulled Luka rc auto cards. At the very least, I know it’s legit and nothing was done to it.

Be sure to check out some of the SGC 1915 Cracker Jacks from HA that I’ll be posting later today in the baseball forum. Worse than Luka and they’re over 100 years old.

How does PSA not catch these things? They have sent many cards back that I know for a fact aren't trimmed because I pulled them from packs and they identify them as not meeting size standards. I guess maybe it depends upon the grader whether they're lazy or underskilled?

If PSA were smart, they would tell Heritage to take them down because they aren't liable to pay out under their grade "guarantee" until the card is transferred to a third party (e.g. not the submitter/trimmer).

I have had this very issue with PSA on some vintage. Some old product was just poorly made. 1961 Fleer is the set I am referring to.

What a shame. The Next Day Luka is one of my all-time favorites. Fond memories of chasing Topps Next Day Photo Shoot football cards annually.

Heritage posted a video on twitter, marketing these two trimmed cards, separated by an altered Giannis Antetokounmpo Black Label that 312 has previously identified.

This trimmed PSA 10 Lebron was recently up for sale again and while PSA didn't seem to care when Heritage was selling the card, they have now deactivated (at least temporarily) the certification.
