DDP or Whitaker? Both are good but if it was for DDP that's great.


Also the Fight Night SSP's in this are sick, will never get how much some of these go for though when you can buy multiple autos of elite fighters for the same price. The playing cards make a bit more sense as you have the goal of completing the whole deck, eitherway sick cards.

Megas came. 4 boxes, 1 numbered card (Aqua) Autos were Gamrot x2, Font and Belal. Not a single Alex Pereira again. I'm wondering if they half printed him or something. Only a handful on ebay too. I did hit the other 3 guys that are part of the potential buyback though. Just weird after now seeing 26 boxes not a single one of him

Other 3 guys? I haven’t heard anything but the main event winner is buyback eligible. Marketing material says main event and shows Alex and hill. What makes you think there is another eligible fight?

In the fine print, if the main event is a Draw or cancelled, the winner of the Max Holloway/Justin Gaethje fight becomes the buyback. Injury replacement fighter would also become eligible if in Chrome, if not it's again the Max/Justin winner

At least 300 is soon so you'll know, I definitely wouldn't want to be holding Holloway/Gaethje cards till like July or something when this set has completely cooled off to find out the original main event is buyback.

Ahh I see.

For anyone who has ripped, how is the QC? With topps chrome you’re generally looking at centering, and then hoping surface doesn’t have print lines. What’s this set looking like?

I've only ripped my preorder box so far, and the QC was fine. Not every card was perfectly centered. A couple of 60-40s, but other than that, no print lines, corners were fine.

I got 2 hobby and 2 blasters. The shop here didn't get any mega boxes in. I have 2 mega boxes from Topps supposed to be on way sometime. Autos are : Khabib mark of champs auto, and Jailton Almeida /10 future star both in same box. Other had Rich Franklin HOF /150 and Iasmin Lucindo RC base auto. The best #'d Yan Xiaonan and Holloway /75. And parker porter??? Never heard of him. RC /299. Valentina rainbow Refractor supergiant and AKA. Islam '54 rainbow Refractor. Dc representing. 1 Shara and 1 Periera bases.

Only keeping 1 base set and Khabib for PC. Well maybe not PC Khabib Auto I'm on the fence about it as the kids say these days. I'll have a base set of 2020 and 2024 for PC. Both worthless sets. Lol. but this one is shiny!

Topps printed way way alot a lotta lots more cards than the last 2020 set. but less than panini. Just more color parallels, no relics. I do like the Future star subset great list of signers for it, wish it had base cards tho. $$$$$.

O and as for QC.... Well I couldn't really tell from all my greasy cheesy pizza sauce covered fingerprints from eating Little Caesars pepperoni pizza and Fries from Wendy's when I opened the boxes up. And some might have a lil damage from the dull spoon I used to gouge my way in and my teeth to open the packs up. Sorry

I will try to make a thread and break it all down. I'll lead with Mega Boxes. I think they kinda stink and prefer hobby over them. On the topic of hobby, I prefer them over breakers delight.

1 red auto of a dude I never head of and I watch every weekend.
Lots of black including DC, Islam, GSP champ autos.
Few nice golds including Umar and Yadong.
Most notable orange autos were Blanchfield and Gaethje.

Out of the 14 megas- 1 gold auto, 3 refractor autos, and the rest base. I never got more than 1 numbered card per box.


Lastly- It sure does feel like the cards for buy backs were not packed out at the same rate. I will work on a final count but it's about half of what I expected including 0 numbered for each fighter.

You did good on champ autos, GSP is one of my favs.

Megas don't sound amazing but at least it is possible to get gold autos, obviously rare but the potential is there.

I’ve come around to pov that Megas aren’t great. You can’t pull 2 of the biggest auto subsets (marks of champions and main event) and there are no rookies to chase xfractors.

Means for $60 you get 1 auto that is highly likely to not be good and 1 numbered card.
