Her brother who was involved in the death of a man 8 years ago was let out prison a few days prior (The death was from a fight at a party)

The 2 that killed the mom and daughter were friends of the guy her brother killed.

People just suck

The fact that you think that shows you how out of touch with reality.

They have several parades during the two weeks. The parade I go to is all fire trucks, a few marching bands from all over the country, and they have a grand marshal and several other marshals that include actors/actresses, sports stars, writers, etc. The year COVID cancelled the parade, Terry Bradshaw was supposed to be the grand marshal.

They also have a "Grand Parade" with marching bands, equestrian units, and celebrities. I thought they also had an all marching band parade, but I don't see it listed.

The spot we usually occupy is by a restaurant. We usually push the chairs down a bit and slowly back out of the way by the time the parade starts. They are so many empty chairs that it's ridiculous. And yes, we have said the same thing about public property, but someone in the town Government has to be giving them permission to do this every year.

I'm guessing it's a nudie parade.
No, that is for a different parade that I'm missing her birthday. That parade is in Port Jervis, NY.

Last year, it was on my birthday and I told my wife I was going and we'd celebrate another day. As a matter of fact, I wanted to take my wife and Son up to the parade, stay over in North Jersey, and then go to the Yankees game on Sunday, but the middle SD had the granddaughter's birthday party that day.

There are tons of people in Winchester that Friday as some of the streets are closed and they have rides and food stands everywhere. They also have a pub crawl that day where all the women get dressed up like they are going to the Kentucky Derby and get drunk.

You'd be surprised the amount of regular people who are at fireman's parades.

The nerve of having a 1 year old’s birthday party on a parade day!

No, on the day we were going to go to the Yankees game. Besides, we were already going with them to Myrtle Beach the following week on vacation so we could celebrate her one year birthday on her actual birthday.

I will say that the only two events that I make it a point not to go to a fire event is my anniversary and my Son's birthday.

Although, this year, I'm trying to convince my wife to allow me to take my Son to Texas during his birthday to do a parade, get some awesome fire truck photos, and see some cool stuff.

We are now the proud owners of a 2018 Jetta. We are at the car wash right now getting her all cleaned up.

No, but most of my family has had bad luck with used cars, so I'm hoping you have nothing but good luck with a used car.
