When I was communicating with sportlots about the issues back in March, it sounded like my experiences were unfortunately not unusual recently. I have to think there is something personal going on. It's not like they are being deliberately bad as far as I can tell, but something is happening that messed up the consistency and it became a headache for sportlots (after an extended period of this), I am pretty sure.
Must be a personal issue or something similar - I will add to the chorus of those who have had multiple good experiences buying from them.

I actually had a purchase not show up recently from another Sportlots seller who used to be active on here and a buyer issue went through with no response. I messaged them here and will send payment if they do show up but I noticed they haven't logged in since April - perhaps also a personal issue of some kind, as I've never had any problems before.

What do some sellers have against Box shipping? Some are $4.50, $6.00.

For many, they probably don't do enough volume to group orders. I'd guess the rest just see it as a way to boost returns.

I think a lot of sellers just 'don't get it'...every time I receive my Box shipment, there are always envelopes in there that have postmarks on them...so they are sending orders individually to the box, instead of batching them up...makes zero sense to me.

I kind of wish we could get rid of budget shipping entirely and either do BMWT or BOX...Every issue I've dealt with as a seller is due to lost or slow PWE shipments...

He(she?) must have gotten whatever it was sorted out. I got a notification a few days ago that an order I placed was filled.

Does anyone know why a seller would cancel a complete box order? When i look at their inventory some of the cards are still listed as available.

Has anyone ever had it explained to them why on earth someone like this would still be allowed to continue bidding on auctions? I recently sold an item via auction and was shocked to see this:

Paid Auction Orders 51 51.0%
Unpaid Auction Orders 49 49.0%

Pays every time, 50% of the time.

That is terrible!

Good grief. I am having such a hard time with this new site design.

Why is it that most of the time (but not all the time) I can't click on the seller of a card to view the seller's shipping rates? Most of the time, it just lists the name.

Why is it that when I click on a specific card to view it then hit the back button, the search page is justified down to the bottom? Sometimes it'll even take me back several pages if it's a search that includes multiple pages. Of course, it justifies to the bottom of that page as well.

Why is the search by seller function so clunky? I'm not sure if it's just the filter menu or not, but man oh man, it's just.....bad. If I pick a seller in the filter menu, it doesn't just display the cards. I have to scroll up the clunky menu and physically do yet another search.

I really liked sportlots. So much so that I would pay a monthly fee to be able to use the previous site so I could actually use the site and its functions efficiently.

I'm certainly finding myself using COMC more and more these days.

As expected, no payment. He is now 51 and 51, I noticed he didn't pay someone else. If you happen to auction items on Sportlots from time to time I recommend that you block - thawkins. Unless you like coin flips on whether you will get paid or not...

He's already on my auto blocks. Yay!

Edit: You can set this up by going to Sell -> Preferences -> Block Buyers and putting criteria in.

Why are there three different unlicensed / custom Patrick Mahomes rookie cards on the auctions? And not trying very hard to indicate them as such. Do your own research, I guess.

I had an order in May that didn't show up and I eventually put in an issue, the seller didn't respond, and I received a refund.
After several more weeks, the order has magically arrived.
Is there a way to complete payment again or is this a case where I'd have to contact the seller to arrange private payment?

Thanks. I started selling towards the end of 2007. It took a few years for me to really start listing large quantity.

I hit 500,000 cards sold in 7/20, 750,000 cards sold in 4/22, and 1,000,000 cards sold today, 7/24.

I've got a crazy process to make it possible to add thousands of cards per hour to SportLots.

A while back I made a video on how to do it for eBay using stock scans where you use voice to text to create spreadsheets. Did a thread on it here: https://www.blowoutforums.com/showthread.php?t=1548202

By using voice to text (or powerfill columns if you have complete sets) to create a spreadsheet of the qty of each card you have from that set, you can then put that quantity data into Google Sheets and connect it with this free chrome extension: https://browserflow.app/

That extension can read the quantities that you have of each card from the Google Sheet and then automatically populate the quantities into SportLots for you.

Would require a little bit of coding potentially for the Excel macro and/or the BrowserFlow automation. But once it's done, you could potentially add tens of thousands of cards to your SportLots inventory within a day.

A couple suggestions for the Sportlots crew please:

1 - could you put the arrows to move back and forth between pages at the top and bottom. Currently at the bottom so always have to scroll down.
2 - could you add back the ability to jump to a specific page instead of having to arrow through

Be a big help in navigating. Thanks for the consideration!

What are the current options and are you asking b/c of graded cards?

Boy I really screwed up my original comment. What I meant to say was add Poor and VG-EX.

Current options are Good, VG, EX. EX-MT and NM.

Not asking because of graded cards. Raw only.
