I think it could be beneficial to promote the weighing of boxes/packs. Listings should be transparent on weights and even show a pic of the item on a scale. Otherwise we deal with what you describe, which is probably true for 80%+ of listings like this. They are being weighed either way, just need transparency on it. Pokemon seems to embrace weighing packs.

I'm assuming they make the Dynasty Black cards redemptions like a lot of the debut patch autos in TCU. They have to since they are sealed in a mag. They couldn't insert them into a pack. If not, those boxes would stick out like a sore thumb.

Is this still a December release?

I think they will be very popular. How can you have a release wrapped around the biggest name in todays game, with worldwide appeal, who did something no one has ever done, and it not be cared about?

eBay listings have all but dried up and at last check, they were selling for up to $500 a box (after being in the $300's shortly after they sold out on Topps @$240).
Blowout has them on presale at $450/box, while *redacted* has them at $490.

There are some pretty big Sho collectors out there who care very much about putting a set of these together (and chasing the rare cards).

As an Ohtani fan I have zero interest in this set. I only care about the 50/50 milestone which I already have a card of.

I'd imagine most people are paying for the lottery ticket, and not to complete the set.

Loose pack shipping notice today, no box shipping notice yet. The boxes always seem to trail by days to weeks with these Topps made-to-order products.

They made a whole freaking lot of this. If its coming out in waves I think it may still be a bit. All the big sites sties still show around the end of the month. Hopefully its before Christmas.

I bought 10 for total of around $2600 from Topps when they were up. But I have no luck with these and when they blew up on ebay I sold them for an average of $480 a pop. Mostly Japanese buyers. I am sure I'll probably get some 1/1s in there since I sold them.

Dayum. I bought 1 pack and 1 box from Topps (lol). Then picked up an additional 4 boxes from *redacted* for $350 a pop. Gonna rip my Topps pack and box for sure, not sure what I'll do with the other 4 though.

One hit per box (10 packs). 90% of packs will be base.
