Reality is prop bets are a big money maker for the books. Most prop bet outcomes are based on busted plays. Luck.

Oh for sure. Nearly all props are -115 both sides (or worse) when you look at them.

Futures are also the worst bets typically, between they get to hold your money awhile, people might forget about them or lose bet ticket, and they don't pay a ton overall (although I do like the futures preseason and begin playoffs... team o/u wins, team to win afc/nfc/sb, rush/receiving title sometimes, etc).

The good bets are simply the basic spreads and the o/u for pure value.

Under for SuperBowl has been getting hit HARD... 48.5 now (was as high as 51.5 or even 52.5 early). Whole FG swing or close to it, depending on SBook.
Whenever you hear espn etc radio shows saying how good over or XYZ is looking, you know they need to get people putting bets on it to balance it, lol.

Rams/ Patriots Super Bowl a few years ago 74% of money was on Pats.

Vegas still came out ahead because of props.

One of the sportsbooks I use has probably 1,000 props this year and literally not one of them looks like a good play. Maybe Mahomes Under 251 passing yards.
