I don't think Hal was ever really going to go all in on him. If Rice lives up to his sabermetrics they might not need to sign anyone for first. I'm not 100% sure they'll sign Tucker either, depends on how Dominguez does this year as I don't think they want Judge back in center.

Long season, we will know who stays and who is better off traded most likely by the middle of July. With a healthy pitching staff I think there are enough bats in the lineup to make the playoffs.

Small sample size and he got picked off at 3rd, but Rice is up to .346/.485/.731 with a walk rate equal to his k rate.

I'm fine seeing how Rice does over a full season. I can't see Alonso not opting out and wanting 30M+ a year which I don't think would be a good move for the Yanks.

In SW Michigan we had snow yesterday when it was 45 degrees. The high winds were extremely cold. The 1pm games are because if weather rolls in they have the time to delay without cancellation. At this time of the year we could experience 80 degree days, snow or thundershowers with high winds.
