Yes nice double play after the leadoff single I will take a strikeout and double play. Nice outing by Hill.

Volpe 1-32 but he did have his furthest hit ball in awhile flew out to the warning track in center.

At least Judge didn’t have to hit again. Goldschmidt grounds out to short to end the inning. Bednar going to pitch the 9th.

Last night's win was all Stanton and Gil. Although Gil needs to cut down on the walks. I guess he thinks he is 2024 Will Warren.

Stanton hits 451-foot homer, drives in 5 runs as Yankees beat Nationals 5-1
