Aaron Judge now has 19 first inning homers this season. That's the most HR in any single inning in a season in MLB history.

And...

With career homer No. 362, Aaron Judge now has the 4th most home runs in franchise history and the most HRs hit by a right-handed hitter in franchise history.

Just 3 more HR to 50, which will give him 4 seasons with 50 or more HR. The only other players to do that are Babe Ruth, Mark McGwire, and Sammy Sosa. Strike the last two names for obvious reasons, and that leaves just Ruth and Judge.

Will Judge hit 50 or more next season, becoming the first and only slugger with 5x 50 HR seasons? That would put him well over 400 HR in just his 10th complete season, far faster than the current fastest, Mark McGwire, who did it in 1,412 games and 4,726 ABs. Let's say Judge gets there by midseason. That will make it approximately 1,230 games and maybe 4,350 ABs, about a full season faster than the fastest ever to 400.

Who knows what will happen? But I'll certainly be watching, every single game. What a time to be a fan! I'm not saying he's the GOAT, but it does remind me of the arguments people made/make about seeing Jordan and Messi play.

Springer is having a great year but he's a DH with a similar OPS to Raleigh. Not top ten in WAR in the NL. Not even top on his own team. Unless something crazy happens. It'll be 1. Judge, 2. Raleigh, 3. Witt, then a tier of JRam Skubal, Crochet and then guys like Springer, JRod. The only reason Raleigh is in the convo with Judge is he's a gold glove/platinum catcher on a winning team and 50+ is most by a catcher ever. If Raleigh gets to 60 and the Mariners win the West... but Judge looks like he is going on one of his tears.
