12 games left and only needs two more to get to 50.

3 games against the twins and 3 against white sox and 6 games with the Orioles. The Orioles have given up the 4th most home runs in the league so hopefully the stats keep going. He's got 5 HR in the last 6 games and is batting .367 in his last 10 games.

I hope 1 bad call in Tampa doesn't hurt too much!

In a league where no one can hit for average this dude is crushing. How is his WAR not way higher?

WAR sucks btw! That's how we all got fooled into thinking Trout was Goatish. Look at just his stats and its MEH!

Judge has two seasons w/10.8 WAR that beat Trout's two best (10.5 and 10.4). Maybe he can add +1 to his current 2025 figure of 8.2 if he stays hot. He wasn't out of the lineup for long, but long enough to not approach the massive WAR figure from last year. WAR may have limitations but this is not a good example to knock it.

He's forecast to be around 9.4 by end of season not sure what people are complaining about 10fwar is really hard to get and he will have missed over 10 games.

All kinds off scenarios. What if he only hits 49 and missed out on another 50 home run season because of that bad call? What happens if he passes Cal Raleigh in RBI's and ties him in homeruns? I'm thinking that wouldn't be a Triple Crown.

If he can’t get to 50 in the next twelve games that’s on him.

He’s been heating up lately, and I pray he continues.

Default Aaron Judge

I was browsing the NY Yankees AT HR Leaders:

AT HR WS Rings
Ruth 659. 4 (7 total)
Mantle 536. 7
Gehrig 493. 6
Judge 363. 0
DiMaggio 361. 9
Berra 358. 10

If you go down the remaining top 10 list, A Rod has 1, B. Williams, Posada and Jeter have 5 each.

Mattingly at 12th is the next Yankee who didn’t win a ring on the HR list. Giambi at 13th and Stanton at 23rd are the next.

Guys who won a ring not as a Yankee:
Winfiield 15th (Toronto)

Do you guys think it will limit Judge’s Yankee legacy if he never wins a WS especially as a Yankee?
He has the single-season record, MVPs etc.
his postseason stats aside from HR are not good:
.205/.318/.450/.768

I think he maintains a tremendous legacy as a Yankee but something tells me Yankee fans will never fully put him in the Mt Rushmore of Yankees of he doesn’t help deliver a WS title back to the Bronx.

Judge doesn’t need a ring. He will get one but he doesn’t need one to cement his legacy in NY. Go sit in the bleachers at Yankee stadium and tell me the fans think he needs a ring to convince them that he is worthy. Judge is already Ruth-like in NY and most fans think the astros stole his first ring and an MVP award. Fans are smarter than we give them credit for. Unless we’re talking about dodger fans, if that’s the case they’re all morons.

Schwarber 53 homeruns .244 BA with a OPS of .940
Raleigh 54 homeruns .244 BA with a OPS of .936

Judge 48 homeruns .325 BA with a OPS of 1.126

Judge is the only play in baseball with a OBP over .400 He's at .449

But will he get the chance? 3 walks last night in 4 plate appearances.

Again, that’s on him. If he wasn’t sooo good then they would pitch to him.

And that's another reason I'm pro-Judge over Cal for MVP. Opposing teams intentionally walk or pitch around him much more out of fear. No one fears Cal Raleigh when he is at the plate.

When you go 1-4 every game, pitchers don't necessarily fear you.
