Brady haters finally got do a victory lap as soon as he turned 45 and didn't have enough gas in the tank.

LeBron haters have had it a little less difficult, but it's still gotta be rough watching him still be a top guy 20+ years in.

How come these past few days I keep seeing mahomes breaking records ..fastest to 250 TDs (over Rodgers)..most TDs through 9 seasons (over manning)..most 4 TD games etc…. All these list include Manning and a few other guys…but NO list included tom Brady. People will argue different eras, but yet Manning put up stats ..so that argument does not hold

Tom Brady is not the GOAT because of the regular season stats he put up in the early 00's.

You could touch Brady back then before his injury. You can’t even breathe on qbs these days. It’s sad, doesn’t even feel like football. More like two hand touch. I bet Mahomes, Peyton and any qb would trade their stats for 7 rings.

I’ll give Brady being clutch and longevity

I find it funny that delta is saying Josh Allen is better than mahomes by regular season play alone …yet he’s saying season stats don’t matter for Brady. Sorta ironic

People hate to admit it, but today’s version of Brady is Jalen Hurts. Doesn’t wow anyone, so so stats.. but gets the job done … many people won’t put Jalen hurts in their top 5 qb currently ..that’s how people viewed brady back in the day. Now people want to have amnesia about that .. Manning was always known to be better…hence 5 mvps (individual accolade vs team SB)…too bad people can’t say bad things with mahomes since he’s got both SBs and MVPs

Hurts in no way compares to Brady post 2007. Or pre 2007 for that matter.

If Hurts wins 3 SBs the same fashion as he did his first, he would mirror Brady. The reason mahomes was being touted a possible goat thru a few seasons is because his accolades and how he plays the Qb position … no one was calling Brady goat til he got 5 rings (passing Montana)..reason? It’s because his play …mahomes was a rocket ship from the jump and hasn’t slowed down..his bad year is a SB loss..

But back to my point…Brady is Not on many lists of “fastest to”…deduce that to what you want …those are facts

Then you said that’s how many viewed tom Brady back in the day. Tom Brady was always viewed as a top 5 qb. Before 2007 he was being compared to Joe Montana, the previous goat. That in and of itself precludes him from being viewed outside the top 5 during that era.

Because Brady didn't have the greatest start to a career ever (if your defining who was the greatest in their 20s).... but he had the greatest 30s and 40s in a career and that's what made him special.

Mahomes did in fact have the greatest 20s for any QB, but to expect anyone to do what Brady did in their 30s and 40s is a lot to ask.

And I'm fine with both of those things being true.

The primary argument during the 00's was Manning versus Brady, but that argument pretty much disappeared when Manning threw his game losing interception in SB44.

Nobody - nobody - was calling Brees the GOAT because he wasn't all that impressive statistically until well after Brady already had 3 Super Bowls.
