I mean someone would have to pay attention to you and ignore you're trolling to figure out what team you actually liked.

The only thing close that this reminds me of is 2002 vs Angels. They battered our pitching. But this year could end up much worse if they dont respond Tuesday.

Having to depend on Carlos Rodon to save the season is never a good thing but stranger things have happened.

I thought I saw it would be Fried since that would be his normal rotation day on Friday. Then again, Gil gave up less runs than Fried, so maybe they should pitch him.

Face it misery loves company 3 of the 4 series are 2-0 and Philadelphia lost both of theirs at home why even bother flying to Los Angeles. Even if the Yankees lose tonight I still consider the season a success you will not hear me say fire Boone and Cashman. How many other teams would’ve won 94 games without their ace and Schmidt and Gil missing extended time. Plus Judge not being 100 percent for about a month. Give Boston props as they were never supposed to be a playoff team but they are definitely tougher than one would think and if Anthony didn’t go down things might’ve been different. The Rivalry is going to be strong for years to come and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Here’s hoping the Yankees season continues past tonight but if it ends it was still a successful season.

Not one other franchise out there can say they've had a winning record for 33 straight seasons and counting. That is the sign of success.

Biggest issue is continuing to play guys that clearly aren't major league talent. Volpe being prime example.

Yes they can make some adjustments but not every position needs to be an all star and one of these years the team will pull it altogether for a World Series run. Funny part is Volpe actually saved game 2 against Boston with his defense or else we would be complaining about getting knocked out by Boston again. And this is a big admission from me considering I started the I hate Anthony Volpe fan club.

It is not without precedent.

AI Overview
Ten Major League Baseball teams have come back from a 2-0 deficit to win a best-of-five series, including five in a Division Series and two in a League Championship Series. The Los Angeles Dodgers first accomplished this feat in 1981, and the New York Yankees became the most recent team to win a best-of-five after falling behind 2-0 when they did so in the 2001 ALDS.

Best-of-Five Series Comebacks
Los Angeles Dodgers: defeated the Houston Astros in the 1981 NLDS.
Milwaukee Brewers: defeated the California Angels in the 1982 ALCS.
San Diego Padres: defeated the Chicago Cubs in the 1984 NLCS.
Seattle Mariners: defeated the New York Yankees in the 1995 ALDS.
Boston Red Sox: defeated the Cleveland Indians in the 1999 ALDS.
New York Yankees: defeated the Oakland Athletics in the 2001 ALDS.
Boston Red Sox: defeated the Oakland Athletics in the 2003 ALDS.
San Francisco Giants: defeated the Cincinnati Reds in the 2012 NLDS.
Toronto Blue Jays: defeated the Texas Rangers in the 2015 ALDS.
New York Yankees: defeated the Cleveland Indians in the 2017 ALDS.

I mean how many teams have a longer drought than 2009 yes people say they should win one more often but 16 years isn’t the worst and God forbid the Yankees had a below .500 season you think fans are unhappy now. Suppose we reversed the Yankees and the Mets you think the Yankees would get as much of a pass as the Mets got.

Ok, then in the scenario that the Yankees lose tonight, how many more years without a title will it take for you to want Cashman and Boone gone?

Keep in mind that we are 15 years removed from 2009 and 7 years into Boone's tenure. During that time, the Yankees have had stretches where they didn't have an ace, or any lefties in the lineup, or key positions like a 3B and LF.
