I agree. Walter Johnson is essential. It would probably mark the first time that the original Hall of Fame class was ever released in a single set. The uniformity of having the entire class in one set is very unique from a collectors stand point.

Not sure why the contrast on the Slyke card was set so high. The image used on the fine art print looks MUCH closer to my original artwork.
Speaking of fine art prints...... Since it was announced that the NBA Living Set would not have fine art prints, I have suspected that the fine art prints for the MLB Living Set will soon be discontinued, possibly at the start of 2026. For this reason, I will not be offering the monthly print subscription plans next year. Topps usually doesn't give me advanced notice when they make these kind of changes and I don't want to risk taking pre-orders for prints that won't be made. If Topps still offers the prints in 2026, I'll still sell pre-orders for each print individually, but I'll be raising the price to $50 per print. I hate to do so, but the rising cost of shipping and supplies is making it hard to justify the time to fulfill artist-signed print orders. Fingers crossed the prints stick around next year. I really love them. At times, I think they look better than my original artwork. And nothing beats the fine art prints when it comes to player autos. I am still hoping Topps adds some chase elements to the prints, like player autos, to boost the sales and justify their continuation. |

Just thought of this. Since the solo release a bit back the numbering has been off. As we approach #900 we should also have a checklist card coming out. I assume they'll just release it, the checklist and card #901 that week. It definitely would be weird to get a card with the checklist that isn't on the list.
I guess they could also just release one player card that week and the checklist is the second card. That would leave one artist out though so that would stink for either Jared or Gabe. Best scenario is a 4 card release week. Let's do #898, #899, #900 and the checklist! |

Would be a true tragedy if MLB LS prints are discontinued. |

I completely understand about having to increase the price. It's a bummer but mailing stuff is just getting so stinking expensive. Thanks again for taking the time to do these for us. I finally got an 11X14 art folio this fall to put my prints in and it's a ton of fun flipping through it. The larger size really makes the artwork stand out even more. |

Same with my artwork for the Simpson card. The print is more accurate to the original art.

![]() ![]() All of the rest are in the set, too, up until Robin Roberts, elected in 1976, along with all Negro League players inducted to that point.

On the back of the Van Slyke card, I'm not sure if the wording is funky or if the statistic is an error, but 45 doubles doesn't seem like it would be enough to make it into the top 10 all-time.

Maybe he's in the Top 10 for Pittsburgh in some other category.

He led the NL with 45 doubles in 1992, which puts him in the Pirates franchise top 10 for most doubles in a single season (tied for 7th with Dave Parker and Honus Wagner). Paul Waner (62, 1932) holds the single season franchise record for doubles.

On the spot stats.
45 doubles probably wouldn't be an MLB Top 1000 season at this point.

It ties him for 260th all time. The single-season doubles leader is Earl Webb (67, 1931).

I remember cheering Freddie Freeman on when he nearly got to 60 in 2023. That season must rank very high overall.
Biggio had a couple of 50+ seasons in the late 90's, too.

Freeman (59, 2023) is tied for 7th on the single-season doubles leaderboard.
