Isn't Moisés Ballesteros a rookie? No rookie logo on the card shown.

That was my initial thought, and while his rookie status is still intact through the 2026 season, he received rookie cards last season.

Good point but the 2026 season has not started, almost 2 months away, so I see this as still 2025 post season/off season. But if he still has rookie status he should have a rookie logo on this card, IMHO.

MLB Topps Living Set cards new year always starts on January 1st, been like that since 2019.

He has to be the youngest player without the rookie shield on the card and will probably have that position for quite a while.

Another note on the Matthews card, in the bio text, JULY is all capital letters, compared to the standard July.

Great news: PSA now authenticates my signature!!!! In years past, PSA would refuse to authenticate my autograph for Living Set collectors who like to get their collection slabbed. PSA would never give a reason why. Admittedly, this change by PSA only occurred once a collector submitted one of my artist-signed cards that ALSO featured the player autograph, but nonetheless, this opens to the door and is a reference point to all future submissions as proof that PSA has now authenticated my signature.

By the way, a collector who is perhaps the no.1 BGA submitter has confirmed to me that BGA will authenticate and grade my artist-signed cards as well.

Thank you the good news. I tried more than once but PSA refused with no explanation to me either. I also have card signed by both athlete and artist but PSA would only grade the card and athlete signature not artist. Glad artist getting some props too and value of card increases with grading appreciating card isn’t just a photo but a work of art.

I remember reaching out to PSA, both by phone and email, to ask them what the deal was and they were snarky jerks about it. The employees would keep reading scripted answers and refusing to give reasons for anything.

I'm most surprised that they authenticated one of my foil signatures. I just assumed they'd consider that a machine printed autograph, which it isn't. Glad there are slabbed foil autos officially on the PSA books now.

I've done the final update to my artist-signed print run master list here on the thread.

I will be mailing out the last of my signed prints on Monday (buyers should have already received tracking notifications). Thank you to everyone who bought an artist-signed print over the years. Your support was huge! Congrats the the 1/1 gold signature print winners.

By the way, this is a very convenient list for anyone who is interested in acquiring any of the extra unsigned fine art prints I may have on-hand. I still have lots of unsigned prints, although usually only 1-3 copies of each player. I've sold out of many players.

Each unsigned print is $25 + tax (the price Topps charged me). Add $10 for shipping.

Agreed.

I'm assuming a lot of collectors simply do not care about a player's production.

"CARLOS ESTEVEZ (CARD 903) PRINT RUN: 1048"

Looks like I'm going to come up a little short paying off that pool loan. I'm blindsided.

On a postive note, Estevez is now my scarcest LS card to date.

Maybe Carlos himself will kick in a little cash to get you over the top?!

From what I can find he is still a rookie in 2026. The card needs the RC logo.

He had the RC logo on 2025 Topps Now cards so he lost that logo with this card being issued in 2026. Doesn't matter what his status is for the sake of MLB.

Yeah this is how it works for the RC shield. Royce Lewis was a long drawn out rookie "year" and it was weird to read the text on the back calling him a rookie with no shield on the front of the Topps Now cards.

Alas, where the Perdomo/Estevez combo was concerned, there just aren't as many of us collectors of cards featuring players-wearing-gold-necklaces as there used to be. At one point, we had over 10,000 members in our FB group.

I got a laugh out of this in the Overview section for Clay Holmes.

The processing time for this item begins after the sale clock expires. If you choose an upgraded shipping method, it will only expedite the shipping time, not the processing time.
