I made a submission back in November, I just did the standard; COMC really does purposefully trickle in (process) your cards. So far, over the past month or so, they’ve been adding 1-3 cards a night. It makes you wonder why they are backed up, just do the entire box. It’s only about 150 cards lol.

I sent them an email requesting that the order be canceled - I would not have paid such a criminal shipping fee to get my cards in 3 months.

Anyone here been able to cancel - I highly doubt I will even get a response.
I would DM them on social media or call them out. That is pretty bad...

When you said premium shipping order to COMC, do you mean RUSHED or PRIORITY? Rushed means they pack it faster and get it in the mail. Priority means they send it via USPS Priority Mail, which means it will travel through the mail faster, but take just as long for COMC to pull it.

In my experience, they tend to process cards in clumps, generally by attribute. So a clump of signed cards, or a clump of memorabilia, or the same sport, or the same decade, or from the same set. They might even do some clumps by condition (example, a stack of Ex-NM cards at the same time)

Well, they added a week to processing time not too long ago. So there’s that.

But they’ve hit the new timeline on all my recent subs. Generally 1-2 boxes per month for me.

My Economy Rushed order was requested 1/12, with an original ship date of 1/18.

Its now 2/2 and still waiting, 650 cards ahead of me, but that has changed a grand total of 4(!) cards since Thursday.

By far the worst experience I've had with this method.

I have been following this thread for quite some time and realize shipping is currently a shipshow. Can someone explain to me why I would be charged $1 S&H fee for elite cards to be shipped? These are the cards that are scanned in higher resolution.
I understand why the graded cards have an added fee of $1. The other "regular"(non-elite/non-graded) are only $.25 S&H. I am baffled as to why an elite cards would have a higher fee. Could it be that they ship in top-loaders? Am I paying $.75/top loader? As an FYI, I do purchase in advance reseller mode.
Any help is appreciated.

Anyone else been shipping inventory home to sell on WhatNot? I recently submitted 5 different shipments totaling about 1700+ cards to sell on WhatNot to get immediate sales.

Sales aren't as consistent as they used to be on COMC (even though majority of my 5000+ cards are priced the lowest on the site for their respective item).

I have submitted a lot more for auction on COMC to offset the slow sales on BIN. January was actually my 2nd biggest month on the platform over the past 5 years thanks to that strategy, but I did purge a lot of inventory so we'll see if I can keep it up.

Sales aren't consistent because the customer service is terrible. People will go other places and I wouldn't blame you a bit for finding another platform to sell on.

It seems my sales are status quo for the most part. I suppose a lot of recently added inventory helps. This has allowed me to pick off more stuff on my watch list along with new finds. I didn't think I'd find enough to justify a shipment any time soon but looks like I'll hit my target number within the next month.

Given their stupid backlog on bulk, I'll again pay the premium for expedited shipping when ready. But because of this premium, I'm mostly holding off purchasing $2 and under type cards. A little more quality over quantity.

I did a few store credit auctions but I feel most of my inventory is not ideal for auction. That kind of stuff I already throw on eBay with BINs in order to move it faster.

Completely agree. It’s odd that they don’t take customer feedback and build it into their roadmap and strategy. With how big the market is, you’d think they’d invest in a more intuitive user experience that provides more flexibility and customization. With how big the hobby is, it’s a complete missed opportunity for COMC. I wish their founder, Tim, had the vision and drive to build the platform to where it could be.

Raw cards, yes. Elites come in toploaders.

Your shipment date will be pushed back. I requested standard on 1/8 with a 2/6 shipment date and today my date was pushed back to 3/22 with 503K ahead of me. Not at all surprised. Kind of annoying, but I don't need these cards right away, so I can be patient.

always love when I cash out store credit then a card for the exact amount I cashed out pops up. Feel like it is a test of whether I should add more...

UPDATE - they replied and said it to too late to stop/cancel my order (even though it won't be shipped until March 18?). I asked for a refund for the 'criminal' shipping charge based on the nearly two month delay and they said quoted shipping dates are just estimates and they will not refund me any thing.

Guess using the term 'criminal' may not have helped....

I would consider a CC chargeback but I used existing COMC credit to pay the shipping fees so I guess I'm SOL.

COMC is such a joke. They scam us all and have zero class.

I don't think it's exclusive to COMC - it is every company in the industry

I saw this mentioned a few pages back, but has anyone seen any of your newly submitted cards that were priced getting cross posted to eBay? I'm on Day 3 of new cards not being cross posted which is quite rare compared to historical norms.

Unlist them and wait an hour, when you relist them they'll pop up on ebay

Sometimes*

I have done that with several cards that weren't crossing because of the mention here. It worked on most cards, but I have a few that aren't crossing still. I tried an hour, didn't work. I tried several hours after an hour didn't work and that didn't work. Finally, I tried overnight and again, nothing. Who knows why it works on some and not on others, but I can verify that that is the case
