bought a Celebrini card to then get graded, said had to reprocess as Elite first. That was supposed to be done by the 13th of January, still nothing. Can't even request it to just be shipped to me, its in limbo. Tried leaving a message on their support page and then the staff email, will try other options before BBB

Card was a stock photo, right? They require the Elite reprocessing so you can see the actual card you were assigned.

These two elite scans have been lost in limbo for almost half a year now…



Not sure how that happens or what type of compensation I get if the cards were lost within the facility.

yes but it has now been nearly a month since the initial request while others I bought afterwards have gone through at the timeline. Says its usually an estimated 5 business days. Bought the card on the 6th of January

This is a great take. Makes sense for sure. Wish COMC would invest more into their people and platform. They could scale so much faster and take advantage of the massive hobby opportunity.

It's almost like it's a bad idea to run multiple promotions while laying people off.. all the while traveling to card shows, actively selling items through an antiquated website, running live auctions on ebay, and shipping out thousands of items. (seems like COMC may have also been changing facilities during some of this too)

If anything COMC should be hiring people to meet the obvious demand the website possesses.. if just to have a reasonable customer service as their current model is terrible.

But hey.. COMC, despite it's glaring issues, was up for the "2025 best marketplace of the year".

I think if you click on any of the cards you’re trying to ship, one or more of them will say “not stored locally” (or something similar). It should be one of the newer cards you purchased.

I checked them and they say ready to ship. Just purchased about 30 cards. Wish it was easily identifiable.

Try to price them temporarily (high price) because you've got to see it on the for sale page. Warning that if you price the card over $100 and it's not Elite, they'll warn you that you have to upgrade to Elite for $2 fee.

Took COMC forever for them to finish a Select submission, then didn't even send me a completion email while charging me in full for all cards (months past the deadline).

They never respond to my emails anymore. I honestly think COMC might be the worst customer service experience for me now.

If you have any interest in using them, I suggest you stay away from them.

I, myself, am trying to sell the rest of what I have and get off the platform for good by the end of this year.

Has anyone done the grading via an item purchased at COMC and had them handle the grading with PSA with vintage non-sports cards from the late 70's and had good results?

Not late 70s but late 60s. PSA sent it back saying they didn't have enough info so couldn't grade (which I think was absolute #@#@#@#@#@#@#@#@ - somebody was just too lazy to do any research with PSA's focus on quantity to get that money). Luckily, COMC gave me my grading fee money back in full and put the card back in my account.

Probably the one good thing they've done for customer experience in the last year, if not more, for me. Just insane how they've fallen off.

Flagged to be returned to your account? They should scan the card and refund you your $2. I've had that happen probably 2 or 3 dozen times over the years and that was ALWAYS the "fix". Of course this was when they used to respond to emails in a timely manner and also were just more helpful in general.

I've gone with the whatever happens, happens mindset...wild west...don't expect anything from them...almost all purchases go straight to auction...give them as little fees as possible method on there for the last few months. Things don't seem to be changing for the positive(from what I read), so, they get as little as possible from me.

I'd love if it they'd straighten-up, give us some CS and focus on things that matter...not the stuff they seemed to be focused on(eBay, mostly).

I've had a shipment ready to go for several weeks, but hitting their times seems to not be happening right now. Anyone that can speak to that? Just feels risky at this point sending anything.
