7 Indiana jones cards. This is nice. 3 of them under 'disney then and now', 3 of them under the 'then and now' hidden mickey variation. and 1 under disney icons.

Disney Icons says '1:3' packs in hobby. But i might have to enter some breaks to ensure I get all the indy cards if i just get one box.

Anyone have a link to the Disney Store landing page for these?

I can't seem to locate it.

The layout of the checklist in a table/spreadsheet-unfriendly format, again. Makes me wonder how they have it all organized on their end.

The autograph checklist has some cool surprising names but is at the same time very lackluster compared to what it SHOULD be. Andrew Stanton,Jeff Pigeon,Patrick Warburton are great gets. But where are all the sequel actors? Ridley,Boyega,Driver,Isaac,Gleeson all returned for Rise of the Resistance. James Arnold Taylor missing as Lt Beck is also weird. But the biggest failure is no Paul Reubens for RX. John Rhys Davies missing is disappointing as well. Also they REALLY avoided Splash Mountain and Tiana which is funny.

Of course, I've read all the posts, there are different opinions. Crunch the numbers though, you ain't gonna have fun with one or two boxes ... _maybe_ case hits bring enough collectors to make 20% back? IDK, I'll just buy them parallels on the secondary.
Count me in 110%, this set looks like a blast!! I'm not opening for any profit whatsoever - I want to build a set and maybe hit some chase cards along the way. For just north of $100 a box this feels like a slam dunk. Of course, that could change if I open 10 packs with the same cards in each... I'm also not buying set after set and getting burned time after time. This will be the first new product I've opened since... the Obi-Wan set?

The relic list is spectacular!

Kinda tough, he's been gone a few years. I don't think he signed thousands of autos in advance like Carrie did.

So it looks like the Disney park/store product will be different based on this checklist and odds.
This checklist does not have the on-site autographs or the haunted mansion insert.

I wonder if we'll get a separate checklist/odds for the park/store exclusive.

They probably wasted the last Paul Reubens autos in 24 Chrome Black

Personally, I think not having any Star Wars autos in this is a win, and I love Star Wars. There are enough of them to be had in other products than to clutter this one with more.

Heads up, for anyone interested in Lorcana, you might want to look into the Fabled set (set #9).

First product with “Iconics” too (a beautiful Mickey and Minnie might I add).

Only sharing because I came across it the other day, supposedly it’s starting to receive more hype and available supply is getting gobbled up (with no likely reprint too). I found a shop online (physical store in NY) last night and secured a sealed 4-box booster case for a nice price (relative to eBay) so “deals” still exist out there. Even cheaper (per box price) loose booster boxes are likely still available too.

It’s kinda funny they have Albert Brooks, Alex Gould, and Tim Allen signing. Even so on the rides referenced none of them did the voices.

Well, I suspect I'll be able to buy a 150 card base set for $20 DLVD this summer.

Look, I'll shut up about it but just know that it appears they printed enough of this stuff where 2 years from now you'll still be able to pick up a hobby pack for $10 or a blaster for $40 at Disneyland.

Chase cards and autos look great, just don't chase them.

2 numbered parallels per box? Well, let's do some math with JUST THE BASE SET (ignore the insert parallels):
199+150+99+70+50+25+10+5+1+55=664

Okay now let's say 664*150 = 99,600 total parallels for the base cards of the base set. Yeah I know that blasters will also have them but ... I mean, c'mon this is madness!

How about we compare that to ... say ... 2025 Topps Chrome Star Wars?
199+150+99+50+50+25+25+10+10+5+5+1=629
but it's a 200 card base set so (again ignoring retail/breaker boxes/inserts/etc) we have: 629 * 200 = 125,800 numbered base set parallels

And I know Star Wars has 17 sets a year or whatever and hopefully this is the only ever Disneyland set but the writing is on the wall about this being closer to a GPK Green Day than a Sapphire Spongebob set.

But one of the things star wars does have is breakers chewing through product. How would breakers even touch this stuff? My guess is that the parks are going to have a warehouse of this stuff to slowly burn through at stands. That's the best you can hope for -- that they enforce artificial scarcity by having it sit at parks. Looks like there's a magical prize redemption so ... not sure about that getting packed out to collectors. I bet the mouse wants that opened at home.

I just pray the quality is there which is very hard when it's paper base. My advice is clear: to anyone on the fence about buying a case, simply wait a couple months after release.

This is very true, every page of the thread. I think most here have clearly acknowledged you're not necessarily wrong either, but also clear for the price (even if it drops later) this is likely going to be a very enjoyable opening.

My guess is this will not be big for flippers or people trying to open to make money, at all. A product that is fun to open without costing an arm & leg is rare enough that it seems hard to accept.

I'm not disagreeing, I think they're going to produce enough to fill in the Grand Canyon. There just feels like enough that it's going to make opening fun and I'm really looking forward to it.

Just buying base sets isn't fun. It's fine and has its place, but I'm personally REALLY interested in the subject and this doesn't feel like a cash grab - it looks like a lot of effort went into it. Of course, as mentioned above, that doesn't explain pairing Tim Allen with Astro Blasters when he doesn't voice Buzz on the ride...

I noticed that as well. They really should’ve had both of them. But as I said earlier the thing holding back this Disneyland Set from truly being peak are the lackluster autographs. If Topps had Johnny Depp,Daisy Ridley,John Rhys-Davies,Kathryn Beaumont,Paul Reubens,Geoffrey Rush,Bill Nighty,Adam Driver,Corey Burton all signing heck! Since Topps doesn’t care about accuracy to the rides why not have Harrison Ford,Ray Park,Hayden Christensen all signing as well! But I think the thing that REALLY REALLY holds back the autograph checklist is them refusing to do cuts in this set. If any Pop Culture Set would’ve benefited from Cut Autos this was the set. Walt Disney,Ronald Reagan,Art Linkletter,Fess Parker,Paul Fress,Dallas McKinnon,Rex Harrison,Richard/Robert Sherman to a name few really would’ve been massive boosts for this set. Heck they could’ve had an insert autograph set for “Fans of Disneyland” with sports players, various actors, and world leaders.

Topps doesn't need to "waste" autograph stickers on a set like this. It's going to sell either way.

Surprised they leaned into I think only 2 artists. Would've been nice to see a broader mix. (hint hint )

The checklist and odds have been updated for Disneyland. The odds at pulling autos/relics are slightly higher in the Disneyland version. On-site autos are 1/10 packs for the base variation. “Gold Confetti /50” which is exclusive to Disneyland is 1/13 packs and /5 Coke Corner Variation is 1/140 packs.
