Indeed! I live in New England so I know the tale. My buddy went to BU so he may get that one.

I didnt remember who Stolz was, amd then when I looked him up and his auto values on ebay, I realized I got another good one. Leaning towards selling tomorrow on the boards..

All said I got one of the two autps I wanted (Breezy) and will try to find a good Shiffrin later. This was a fun exercise!

However, if in 2030 several of the players who played in the Olympics this year (2026) then images from the Olympics could be on the cards in the USA jerseys without airbrushing.

Her story is probably one of the most remarkable.

She got little to no hype coming into the Games but after she won, so many people are like "this is the craziest comeback story I've ever heard!"

Also helps that she's only the 8th US woman to win gold in the event and 1st in over 20 years.

I agree, I was on her early since I follow figure skating. I think her personality make people love her and she is someone kids will look up to. Think she is going to be everywhere the next few months if not longer.

Got these back in 2022 from the 'SKYBOX Metal Champions' set on ePack...back then they were $10 bucks! Put them in my "Other Sports" collection and forgot all about them...so glad I saved them! Talk about finding GOLD 4 years later!

With USA's gold in hockey my four box break gained a lot of life. Sold the base Jack Hughes auto I pulled for $325 today. I don't know if that'll be a good or bad choice long term, but it got me to the point of basically breaking even with what I sold and held onto. That was a $40 card when I pulled it!

Even crazier is that I saw a gold auto of his yesterday for $68 on ebay and thought about buying it. I guess it was actually close to the going amount at the time. People are gonna get crazy returns on those.

All in all, had fun watching the players I got autos of this year. And still have some nice cards for the PC. I should remember to save up for a case of 2028 Summer Olympics since these are always such fun products. Fanatics will probably ruin it that year though...

Also, I'm still missing base cards #79 if anyone has one to trade me!
