Yikes!

Low print run to date, and second card <4,000. So far it's following the MLB trends. Prominent rookies, current superstars, and Hall of Famers are the way to a high print run.

Is it petty for me to be annoyed that he gets the full body slam dunk shot in Angel's amazing artwork? Don't know the player but bought the card just because of the art. I promised myself I was going to ease up after card 10 but Angel keeps killing it.

I'm out of the loop & just discovered this set. This is tempting to build, but also feels cost prohibitive with not having any real interest in buying bulk or chasing the short prints.

I enjoy the different ways some collect this set—every card is a natural choice for some, but you can just do a given franchise, a particular team, just rookies, HoF only, or for me, a combo approach

What is cost prohibitive about it? I think if you are on top of the preorders on ebay they are ... $5.14 a card delivered per week? I see a wilkins on ebay for $4.99 ... seems pretty reasonable to me?

I didn't really think about eBay to be honest. I was looking at the $9.67 it'd cost me directly from Topps

You have no shot at a parallel "lucky hit" on eBay but the sellers are subsidizing your cost with those so :shrug:

The only downside is shipping delays make the eBay pass through even longer

This is a great set to jump into!

So many ways to collect it as others have said. I honestly wish there weren't parallels since so many other products have done parallels to death.

But this is one of the few sets that seem geared towards long-term collectors.

Hope you find some way you can enjoy collecting this!

Really wanted to like this set but like the mlb living set and why also the pr is low as well is the quality of these is horrible. As soon as I ordered my first card to see if topps improved or resolved the quality from the mlb set. Every card in my order had dents.
