And just like that, prices are back dropping again. Stuff steady climbed all day yesterday. Then one person undercuts the rise and people just start following suit. The Zach Lavine SS needed for the Durant challenge climbed all day yesterday. Two people undercut the market and now one by one, everyone else is panicking and dropping their prices.

So many people out there who just have no idea what they're doing. You could have sold these moments for 30% more if you just paid attention to what was happening and not instantly have a MUST SELL NOW knee-jerk...

I have no interest in arguing with you. You see things in a very narrow and biased way on almost every issue. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to track evaluate.market and see that SS prices have fallen precipitously since last night. You clearly just have an agenda and hope people don't notice.

I just bought a Curry Seeing Stars and I'm trying to move another moment or 2 to pick up whatever I can with the balance I have left.

They haven't fell much, they are still higher than they were Monday when the market reopened. A good gauge is to look at the lower end players. Many were available at $110-$130 on Monday...I dont see those prices right now.

Yup, the guy who said they were in freefall and then admited to selling all of them in his next post is trying to tell me about my bias and agenda lol

I have no skin in the game to judge you one way or the other. But since I started following this thread on Monday night, I have gotten the same impression out of your posts.

No judgement, either way. Take it for what it's worth. You seem very agenda driven. If nothing else, you're very set in your beliefs and have a habit of telling everyone who thinks differently that they're very obviously wrong.

I have noticed a slight trend in the past couple of days. Around 7 AM EST, the prices start to dip and they dip for about 3-5 hours until about noon. Then they stay stagnant for a little and then at night prices go up. Obviously this disregards pack drops and such with new cards. Seems like there's always some morning panic selling on the east coast

I'm just struggling with whether to pursue the LeBron team or not. I saw the rise with most over $200 but I just cant do it at that price. I figured I'd start with Luka and there was a slight fall, I think he was at about $750 but is now down to $700. The more I wait, the floor seems to get higher. I'm probably out though.

Take this RJ Barrett for instance.

Why would someone with a top 600 number decide to list this for $770 when a nearly identical comp sold for $100 more just a couple hours earlier?

Currently less than 1200 people are completing the Seeing Stars challenge. There will be at least 5000 more people completing it and there is going to be no more of these distributed in packs (still will be some in unopened packs and in the packs saved for promos/influencers)

So if 5000 more people need to buy a large chunk of these moments and the supply is kept constant what do you think happens to the price? This is simple supply and demand economics. It will dip throughout the process but I will be very surprised if it doesn't start climbing back up.

One worrying thing I have seen is that throughout all of this the market cap for all moments has been going down quite a bit.

This suggests that instead of new money coming in people are really just shifting money from S1 and S2 moments into these challenges. If new money doesn't come into this we are in some trouble.

Right around the time the first beer gets popped and dudes go into “F it. It’s only money” mode. Then regret settles in with the morning coffee. Correlates well to my college days.

Weird. Let's just compare my sale prices, which are anywhere from 5-20% below the peak prices this morning, to where things are now.

Luka: $830 -> $678
Steph: $625 -> $555
Giannis: $475 -> $385
AD: $325 -> $275
Dame: $310 -> $259
Jokic: $270 -> $215
Simmons: $225 -> $197
PG: $220 -> $195
CP3: $249 -> $192
Brown: $220 -> $191
Sabonis: $205 -> $184
Gobert: $215 -> $180

Take your lumps, chump. Your poor moments are worth a lot less right now. Stop pumping.

Also, not sure what you're trying to get out/claim here. I still had moments for sale at 9:41 when I mentioned that that market was in freefall. If anything, my intent was to inform other forum members that they should probably take a look and get out if they so chose. I've made it pretty clear I'll be doing the LeBron SS Challenge, but there's no reason to ride the wave down when I can do it later at a cheaper price. Sorry you got into this too late and are taking it on the chin.

Yeah I am set in my beliefs for sure and I am open to debate things back and forth. It takes a lot for me to be proven wrong but when I am I will openly admit it. I know I can come off arrogant or defensive but I am really just trying to get as much info as possible out there.

New account making were closed for the last week. It'll come. My "Top" percentage rank increased(got lower) but my actual rank fell almost 100 places on evaluate market.

This is what worries me as well. Market cap was above 2B at its peak a few weeks ago...now it's hovering around 1.7B

In the short term, new money will come in, packs will get sold and sales will be fine. But if you are holding moments, things are not looking so good. It might take a while before seeing an increase in them.

"it takes a lot to prove me wrong"

is one way to say it. Another way is that most everything that you're being question on is your opinions. Which is what they are. They're opinions, not facts.

Hard to prove opinions wrong. But don't get the two twisted.

All this volatility just proves that there are a lot of dudes putting money into this that probably can’t afford to lose it.

Oh my bad I figured you were talking about the argument I had about a % of people who buy packs not knowing anything about value and just listing at lowest ask therefore causing a downward manipulation of prices due to the packs giving people free 100%+ profit.

That is a fact not an opinion.

Some people have "paper" hands, they see one instance of a potential price drop so they drop their price a lot to guarantee a sale. They know their price will get sold at that because it's such an extreme drop

For what it's worth I would say now we are close to "freefall" territory with the Seeing Stars. Still not concerned longterm but it is definitely a bigger dip than I anticipated.

Default Got first wire transfer

I submitted my first wire transfer of 3000 last week hit my bank about 8 days later.
So far my $44 dollars invested has paid off, still have another $1000 in dapper and about 20 moment.
It’s very much up and down you have to watch it regularly to decide when to buy when to sell.
It’s kind of a challenge but gives me something to do.

Rising stars are doing the same thing. Maybe it's me, lol. I bought a Curry and promptly down $40 from where I bought. I will keep my transactions to myself so the market doesn't go down.

Jeremy Levine received a $1 million dollar offer for the Zion #1. Sounds like he turned it down but that sale would certainly make headlines.
