The problem was apart of 10 drops, per the email they sent.
So you probably joined at least 1 of those. They gave a credit to anyone who participated in at least one of them.

I've started liquidating majority of my clection. Just not interested in the weekly challenges or tracking price fluctuations anymore. Plus, I think the market will continue trending down for 99 percent of the moments, unfortunately.

Hoping to have around $400 to dump back into CUMMIES before the OF merger. Lfg.

Market is certainly on a down turn, they should not do drops every 2 weeks. Bad idea

Didn't get a premium pack at $99 earlier today (#7300 out of 3600 packs), but got 990 on the base pack.

Results: Jamal Agnew /7,000

Most see the writing on the wall. You can score tons of low tier rares /1100 in the low 4x range, and 799's in the 5x-7x range.

I just don't see how prices hold or surge unless devs call an audible and come up with a brilliant plan. I just don't know what that plan could be. Eventually every star/semi star is going to have multiple series moments...it's just inevitable.

2 way I see:

-Find a way to make the moment collectable so that people really care about owning them (haven't figured out a way to do that yet)

-Eventually tie them to real life experiences that more than just whales can take advantage of

NFL All Day hit their peak and it is all downhill from now. The NFT sportscards segment if completely saturated at this point and they milked as much money from these things that they could. Panini keeps on adding crap to their platform and 99% of the NFT's can't be sold.

Never going to happen. These companies seem deadset on keeping the virtual world completely separate from physical reality. Or maybe it's some kind of legal issue. Either way, looking like another topshot trajectory, but a lot more interactive.

Skipped playbook this week.... didn't have many moments that qualified for the challenges and forgot to make my Monday and Thursday game picks, so I opted out this last week.

May try again this week but I am on my way out, Dapper can't get out of their own way and these projects start hot and then flame out, I'm not going to be stuck holding the bag again.

I kind of skipped. I got up to 40 pts because i guessed everything right. But I didn't bother burning 5 moments to get 2 free.

I'll take my 1 free moment i guess.

I'm not sure what they're doing wrong at this point, but I'm not sure what more they can do right.

Got an email this morning from Justin Jefferson's PR reps. 15% off all JJ merch for his moments holders. Not really up my alley dishing 60 bones for a Kirkland hoodie with hand beer goggles logo. Could be a sign of things to come...but I'm taking my internet funny money and going home.

There is one thing that could absolutely solidify the market:

A guarantee that moment counts per player could never increase over a certain amount.

I think I've mentioned this before. But if they told me today that there would never be more than, say, 20,000 moments in circulation for each player, I would 100% be loading up on key players.

Only way they could do that is if they extended the moments checklist out to every scrub on an NFL roster....or retired NFL legends that have little to no bearing on weekly challenges. I can understand the difficulty in this situation. People wouldn't be too content with getting Jalen Tolbert moments as a pack hit. The way to do that would be convince people to burn some moments of star players. Not sure how, but that's for them to figure out.

So taking Mahomes as an example: Let's say he has 20k moments at the end of the year. If they made a rule that said moment counts could only move up 10% each year, then throughout the next season they would only make 2,000 moments, plus any that were burned.

New pack chases each year would then be around Rookie and limited veterans.

Sure, this would really cut down on the amount they make on pack sales. It would mean that the focus would be on sustaining the marketplace and taking 5% of each transaction. Doing that works out way better if your moments are selling for $50 each for stars instead of $5 like TopShot.

Regardless, the biggest reason to sell right now is the worry that the moment count for a player you have could double at any moment. Get rid of that worry, and there is incentive to hold.
