Of course we are only 4 games in. When you have guys cards selling at $400-500 for base autos and they come into the league and can't lay off pitches a good foot outside of the zone I am not sure what that signals. Apparently nothing. I never said he was going to be a bust.

What is the point of this thread? Are you calling out a player for not being good, or is your goal here just to bash him because YOU think his cards are overpriced. If his autos were only $40-$50, or hell even $100 would you even think about making this thread? Doubt it. You sound like someone who didn't get in early on Eloy, got upset the prices got absurd, and now happy as a clam he's underperforming and basically creating a "told you so" type thread. Look at how many comments you made referring to his prices and how much people have spent. Look at how many people, including myself, that haven't spent a dime on the guy saying let's relax for a minute and give the guy some time before we determine it's time to worry.

You just need to chill for a minute. You asked for opinions, right? People told you quit being ridiculous for thinking it's too early to worry and YOU got offended and started attacking.

Oh, I don't worry. Like I said, I have $0 in Eloy. Hope he succeeds, as I hope for all young potential superstars. But I know manipulation when I see it. And there's a lot to go around here

Now he's plying his trade in a quaint town in Southern California where they have nice weather, a likeable high school teacher named Miles, a picturesque racetrack close by where he can unload some of his hard-earned and, most importantly, there's a very talented bunch of youngsters which he gets to lead to the promised land.

He made the right move.

As OP said this place is a hotbed of manipulation. Why would anyone be influenced by what someone on here said, though. The eyes don't lie. If anyone took this thread seriously and started to worry they need help.

If threads on here can manipulate prices the hobby is a joke, at least the prospecting side of it.

I'll be making a note of how much I have spent on the secondary market at the end of this year compared to busting boxes. The latter is so much more fun and if it turns out that I'm s... at the former, busting will be the way forward.

Kahldrogo I do understand where you are coming from, but people will have to judge it for themselves: whether this thread was inauthentic, which judging from the title it most probably was. But again people need to work that out themselves.
