I have a handful you can have for the cost of shipping. I'll take a look this week.

It’s our only licensed 2025-26 option for now.

Hopefully, topps will let us know what’s coming up next soon.

I would be really disappointed if this was our only 2025 calendar year release, besides the holiday one.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be surprised at all if this was it for 2025

I’m gonna be ripping until I try at least one of each format sans hobby. Got a hanger today, see how that goes. Prob fat pack next than mega.

Haven’t followed the arguments on why this product sucks apparently but people been waiting g awhile for licensed Topps ball again not sure why people wouldn’t be ripping. In my area blasters sold out quickest of sports in a new restock followed by Topps Holiday.

Retail is the best to minimize losses and to scratch the itch.

Leave hobby/jumbo for the Vegas crowd.

The general consensus I have seen amongst collectors, has been broadly positive for the inaugural paper release.

Opened 3 fanatics value boxes to rip something. 2 boxes didn't have anything except a Flagg Power Players Foil with a dinged up corner. The other box had 3 numbered cards and a jersey. Gold /2025, Gold /50, and Orange /25 but not the right names.

Megas at $45 from Target for 16x 14-card packs seems like it would be relatively fun & decent value for the money comparatively.

Most definitely! I’m expecting those to get cleared out first.

At the least, that’s what I would buy along with a blaster if I was waiting in line to buy toothpaste, lol.

Mine were just delivered to my house. I will open them after work. Got absolutely blasted on my 2 hobby boxes.

I will be back after I open them to complain that I should have bought singles.

I hope you are wrong.
This brings up a good point that I don't think you fully fleshed out -- 2025 Topps basketball has the novelty that 2025 Topps Chrome didn't. Topps has been producing TC uninterrupted for decades, while fully-licensed NBA Topps products stopped a decade-and-a-half ago. Therefore, you really can't compare their respective markets -- one is mature and the other is essentially "rebooting" after a generation of being gone.

I think you're overestimating the market's valuation of third-year Wemby autos, 22nd-year Lebron autos in a Lakers uniform, and Cooper Flagg paper rookie cards.

The BKB market is still firmly in the Panini era, where the most valuable ultra-modern cards come from. It'll take time for Topps to fully pull the market into the Topps-rebooted era.

People need to think longer term here than just two weeks after a 16 year hiatus.

After twenty more Topps products are shoved down our throats, mostly of the shiny chrome variety, how much luster will remain for this basic flagship product that will be as plentiful then as it is now? Baseball has a traditional set collector following. Basketball does not, thanks to decades of panini and upper deck breaker products.

Even the biggest homers of this product acknowledge the lottery aspect of flagship topps - much of the rest is filler material and soon those big hits will take a backseat to the bigger hits that have yet to come (dynasty, sapphire chrome, cosmic, transcendent, court icons, definitive, etc)

We’ll get a great gauge of the basketball card market after all these shiny new toys roll around. Hoops and basic upper deck were hot at one time, but never for a sustained period due to the new hot girl in town.

My "would never" had nothing to do with the card being /25 lol.

I have never, ever seen a basketball card made out of wood from Panini. I had to dig a little bit and found an obscure one from 2014 Panini Threads, so there's that at least.

Good to know.

Paper flagship in hobby form never really inspired me even for baseball. Won’t happen due to cost but rather wait for Chrome for that or if it’s gonna be paper something like Topps Archives although that probably won’t happen for basketball

Won't it be as difficult to sell Topps Flagship next year as it is to sell NBA Hoops cards now?

Hopefully they will do a heritage set with red ink autos that will be cost sensitive ($90-$125 range) per hobby box.

Thats how you build a following, not play pricing games with the public that only excites the middle men and soothes the gamblers.

I like the two Heritage sets from two decades ago then they stopped. Hope it comes back!

They’ll probably overhype it every year
