The only fee was the $5 ‘transfer’ fee that is charged by TS for all withdrawals via crypto.

I then took my USDC and traded it within Coinbase for BTC, ETH, and a few other alt-coins I was interested in. For those, I was charged the standard Coinbase spread fee of 2% or so.

So on a $500 withdrawal, it’s about $15 to get the money from TS to Coinbase, and convert the USDC to the coin of your choice if thats what you want to do.

Yeah, but if you try and send your USDC or ETH off of coinbase to a crypto wallet where you hold the keys (you don't on coinbase) it will cost $25, Bitcoin will cost about $20 as well

Not sure if this has been tossed around, but what happens to Top Shot in the off-season? I could see a pretty large cratering of prices that will be difficult to reclaim unless they really spice it up or give some serious incentives for people to stick around.

They will release pack after pack until things collapse. That is the only thing I see happening. After the season ends be prepared for historic NBA moments.

They'll probably do throwback moments/ Top 100+ plays etc.

It's been pretty obvious for a while now that they're milking the cow dry until it's time to put it out to pasture and move onto the next project. The only thing more shameful is the clear prolonging of that window of time in basically every single "pack eligibility" measure they take. This always had a supply issue that would've inevitably befallen the product.

Yeah..that can get expense quick but the only other option is to have USD wired to a US account for $25. Not bad for large withdrawals but that is a big percentage if taking out $250 or less. I intended to convert my TS gains to crypto anyways and ride the current wave of appreciation so sending it to Coinbase was perfect.

I believe TS only sends USDC so how you and where you convert can indeed cause a number of fees...but that’s life on the blockchain currently.

Is there an option to have TS send ETH or BTC to your wallet or is the only option USDC? I have only received USDC via withdrawal but maybe I simply had that as the default?

An off-season filled with "Run it Back" moments sounds pretty great to me.

I love off-season NBA (Draft & Summer League). Also got Olympics this year (hopefully).

Or some people ask legit questions about the platform given how it's still in "beta" yet has taken in millions of dollars from people.

I agree.

People are still hooked on 90s players. If they can get some key moments from those guys plus the 00s and even the 10s, there will be nostalgia added.

There is still some big $$$ being thrown around.

I still think it's just the beginning.

What's funny, I haven't been paying attention the past few days and didn't even realize a drop was coming today. Only because they screwed the pooch and sent out an alert that they were fixing it, I realized there was a drop.
