If anyone has purchased a complete set from PWCC, especially a 48 Leaf one (any sport), I would start looking into any PSA graded cards in the sets. Looks like Moser sold complete sets via PWCC as well.

PSA: Cards with glued-on corners should not be given numerical grades! We know the corner is glued on because there is what appears to be glue on the pre-Moser copy.

From the same sub as the Mathewson I posted yesterday.

Value gain: $1,800

Also check out the two PWCC descriptions of the same marginal-at-best card.

How about some recoloring work? Front is debatable. Back is clear as day. Card has been heavily cleaned too.

In same submission as Mathewson I posted.

I hope people who are reading these PWCC/Moser threads here, on Net54 and CU are looking at their purchases from PWCC to see if they can match photos of their purchases to cards having been in lower graded holders. We need more than 3 people contributing to this process. What has been uncovered so far is the tip of the iceberg. I promise. No card is immune in any grade.

Drink every time the word “exceedingly” is used in a PWCC listing. You’ll get exceedingly drunk in an exceedingly short amount of time.

Ouch, that one has a quarter the left and bottom borders shaved off.

Vintage in new slabs are a scam.

Default ‘52 Mantle PWCC auction

PSA and the other grading companies as well as PWCC should be paying a per-card bounty for every fraudulent example uncovered.

...and no, I don’t mean a voucher for free grading.

And yet you still claim grading is legit?

That confuses me.

Darren Rovell just posted about PWCC on Twitter. Nothing crazy and I’m. Not a big fan of his but he does reach a lot of followers outside of the forums.

And as much as I am happy to see a high-profile (ish) guy getting the message out, this isn't the guy I'd want. The amazing work done by BODA shouldn't be hampered by a guy who has a documented history of wanting to break news and not do proper research, thereby hurting his credibility. Hopefully other outlets will get wind of this, and soon.
