HOF Game Used Collection

I know there's a very detailed thread for HOF autographs. My collecting preference is HOF game used. By my count there's 218 Baseball HOF Members who have a some sort of game relic/used/worn/touched etc. card made for them.

There's plenty of amazing patches and game used pieces out there. I've keep my collection pretty simple as far as extravagance goes aside from a handful of the more limited and hard to find cards. Feel free to post your entire collection or prized piece.

Thanks for putting this up and compiling the list. I, too, had been collecting a GU HOF type set for a while, but eventually hung it up. It was fun scouring new sets that had GU stuff to see if any new players had been added. In my old checklists I kept notes on what sets people had stuff from, but they're probably long gone. I've been casting about for a new project, I think I might return to it.

Updated with all 2019 HOF members. I upgraded Ken Griffey Jr. to a nice Leather Bound Glove card. I've also upgraded Sam Rice from a Bat to a Jersey card issued in National Treasures.

Here’s a few of my faves from my collection. Not as extensive as yours, but close. I left the hobby over 10 years ago and was excited to find so many “new” HOF players with memorabilia cards for really cheap! Then I noticed that the card no longer states that the item was used by the player or even what the item was (is the wood chip from a bat or stadium seat? Was the player ever in the same zip code as the item? No clue...). So, sadly, I won’t be adding to my collection. Love what I picked up all those years ago...

Oh, and to be clear, these deserve their own thread and absolutely belong in the HOF thread. While we do post a ton of autos, the thread is for all things HOF.

Great collection. I've been at this collection for the better part of 10 years myself. I actually like your Hooper better than my 1/1. Great stuff! I agree the verbiage is vague at best. It's one of those things that's up to the collector to accept moving forward. I've followed others collections as well. Sadly most have sold off or just stopped collecting.
