PSA Will Ban You If You Dare Criticize Them

Well, if you filed a chargeback to get all of your money back, I too would be keeping the cards until you paid for them. Your issue is with one card, not the whole lot. Looks like you have one of two options. Get a lawyer who is not a frequent blowout contributor OR get in line on the phone, pay for the cards that you want back and explain your situation to them in order to rectify the damaged slab. Pretty simple as far as I can tell.

I have done my fair share of criticizing PSA publicly here on this forum, including starting a thread showing two examples of their ridiculousness.

I haven't been banned (yet?) so I have a feeling the connection between these bans isn't any criticism of PSA, but rather doing a chargeback on your PSA order.

Mine was personal with the old leadership. They were very thin skinned and shady as crap. I was a big submitter and called them on their crap and they blocked me. Since Nat took over it seems a little better, but I am not submitting with them like I did anymore.

From what he wrote and what you did, there is a huge difference. I read they sent him a busted case and then on another order after that they held cards. Have we ever meet? I know you are from the same area in NC as me. You have always followed this thread and defend PSA.

I stopped sending to SGC when they stole over $5k in cards from me. I had a rep and told him I was submitting 4 really nice cards. Had signature confirmation on it. Packaged was signed for then disappeared. They said they never got it. I filed reports with the FBI and post office. The rep and the shipping manager ended up being fired soon after and nobody there would talk to me and acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. Never used them after.

I just set up at a show a couple weeks ago....I had one showcase with all PSA slabs and another showcase filled with SGC slabs (Both modern and vintage)...I sold quite a bit of my PSA slabs and sold only one SGC(For pennies on the dollar) in fact people would look at an SGC card and ask me if I have that same card in a PSA....They would look at the SGC showcase and once they saw the showcase next to it with PSA Slabs they never looked at a SGC again.....I am not a PSA fanboy as I send in to both PSA and SGC, but I think I am about done with SGC as I cannot seem to give them away...So SGC far from rules....at the end of the day it truly is not even close as PSA is king for value, reselling and investing.

Sheep mentality. I have never had to sell or trade at a discount being in an SGC slab. If someone even asked that would end any negotiations.

I called them out in their own forum after receiving 15 damaged cards and still have a valid account. They tolerate constructive criticism just fine. It's the unsubstantiated stuff (e.g. "intentionally damaging cards") that might get someone the boot.
