I wish the same. I wouldn't be surprised if he's throwing the games. He hates Cleveland and the fans. He most likely will be gone after this season and knows it. Why not ruin it for everyone else.

Where's Jackie Moon when you need him the most?

I'm sure we could get a nice washer/dryer combo for Perez from some team. But if they don't move him quick enough and he continues to tank games it looks like all we are looking at in exchange for him is one of those dryer sheet vending machines

I was reading somewhere this morning that he walked into Francona's office after the game last nite and demoted himself out of the closer role. Thank you Perez!

Scoring 7 early is putting a lot of pressure on Texas since we all know they are scoreboard watching.

Tampa Bay loses. Although we still need help (and today is not over) it is a start!

Lol at my prediction of Ubaldo's success.

This year has been so unbelievable, honestly if this year was made into a movie, it would be more unrealistic than Major League. Seriously!

I thought I'd share a few pics from my trip to Minneapolis this weekend. My wife and I decided to drive from Michigan and spend a long weekend watching the Tribe. We planned the trip almost 2 months ago and were hoping they'd still be in contention, boy were we lucky!

Went to the first 3 games of the series and were able to snag great seats for super cheap! Went to batting practice on Thursday and Friday and even snagged a few autographs and a couple of pictures!

So I was correct here...

As for the Ubaldo trade, that is crazy to think we really did get the better deal! I think he has a better than average year though. 15 wins but his k-rate will be down.
I bet you are now!

Haha that was fun to read some of those predictions! I had HR, wins and BA(I think) players right! Glad to see my division guess was wrong... And we finished one game behind Detroit!

Looking back through this thread even more, it's crazy that the Indians made the playoffs considering all the disappointments. Look at Chisenhall, Perez, Pestano, Myers, Reynolds, Bauer...and the Tribe won 92 games! Guys like Raburn, Gomes, and Kazmir have really helped, though.

I was looking at some of the major league leaders in different categories and the Indians don't have a top ten guy in almost any of the categories! It's amazing we are where we are. The good news about the playoffs is you throw out every stat, record and 162 games to determine a new winner. A little mix of grit, momentum and luck determine your fate. Well go tribe go.

So what are you guys hoping to see, realistically, in the offseason? Perez is already gone, thankfully! Some things I'd like to see:

Trade Asdrubal to the Cardinals for something involving Lynn, Martinez, or Miller
Bring Scott Kazmir back
Sign pitching, both starting and bullpen
Add a bat or two

I don't know what to expect pitching-wise, but I'd like to see names like Josh Johnson, Tim Hudson, or even a Mike Pelfrey/Paul Maholm type. I'm sure there's plenty of bullpen help out there, too. Would LOVE to see them bring Mike Morse in on a one or two year deal.

Alright tribe fans I need to move some of my higher end cards, I want to give you guys first crack at this before I post it elsewhere... hoping this goes to a great home that will enjoy it as much as I have. Prefer to sell it, but if trading it means that it will go to another tribe fan then I'm okay with it as long as it's something that I can sell quite easily. Gonna need some big bucks on this bad boy though, pm me if interested

Well it looks like we won't be doing much in free agency this year. I guess it was a one year spending spree. I'm not gonna lie, that scares me quite a bit b/c they are missing a lot of pieces. They can't rely on the question marks they have now. They need to do something.

On a side note, I did order my Tribe Fest tickets today.
