Nba Prizm or select football is all the rage because instead of breadcrumbs you’re getting the whole slice of pie instantly. But, right now I would argue most products are worthwhile financially at MSRP. People are buying series 2 and flagship UD hockey and making a few bucks.

From collecting standpoint on Prizm draft, hangers are best value I think and have the on campus cards. Megas (Target version only) are amazing with the 22 gold ice and 1 gold ice auto. Haven’t opened my cello boxes yet so can’t rank those. Target mega > hanger > Walmart mega > blaster for the other formats I’ve opened

yeah I opened some from the first wave I got in, the hangers were meh, I get that you get a lot of cards, but base and green are pretty boring to me and don't think there's any resale value on them. Blasters suck. Megas were great, the gold ice looks way better than any of the other parallels and the guaranteed auto is a HUGE difference IMO, even if 250 points was the best pull. not sure how to sell off the singles, most of these are $.99 if that, and maybe $5-10 for the QB parallels. Even though they're so cheap, would people pay real money for these in SGC slabs?

bummed I didn't get the NBA megas, but I at least scored a few more DP megas

I figured there would be between debit and credit but not all the sub-accounts. Just not sure how the ability to add people to the account translates to being able to get more product.

Add users to debit. Completely different info for each user. Unique card numbers.

You don’t need unique ssn. Get approved for debit, add users, for each user it’s unique card number

those links have been public for 2-3 weeks, i haven’t heard of them actually stocking yet? but yes bots are running 24-7 on those links waiting for stock…

How about the feature on ticketmaster where you're buying the tickets and then it has a countdown timer of 2 minutes for example, then if you don't complete the order when the countdown expires it releases the tickets. that is probably not something worth it for target but that is maybe one way to do it.

the only thing that would change though is op just wouldn’t have ever been able to add it to cart. the bottleneck for target is at checkout, not add to cart.

OP thinks he was closer to getting it then he actually was because he saw it in his cart. thousands of people had the same experience. basically everyone got it to cart (or a lot of people did ) there were just only so many boxes to actually be purchased.

you can change the experience but it likely would not have changed the outcome of him not getting any boxes.

The sub $10 are good for random bulk lot sales. Facebook fire sales do well for me with these. Basically selling to people who are willing to either invest or put them out as singles at shows in the cheap boxes. Using Herbert Prizm draft, the base is $5, green is $10, I’d be selling for like $2 and $5 and the margin below comps tends to draw interest from somebody

The better stuff, I sold a Zion draft #1 silver gem for $150 not that long ago in the dead of off-season at a low. Quick search of Herbert 2020 draft base gems around $100 and silver gems are call it $160. I figure PSA will have a sub $50/card option. At this point with a graders eye you’ll still do ok. That’s my plan at least. When paying MSRP, you’ll do alright. Everybody focuses on the slices of pie, breadcrumbs have a pretty high floor though with some effort if you’re willing to play in the ignored sandbox

I just have too much fun with the target megas. Ripped another box today and pulled a Trevor crusade gold ice. I’ve surprisingly gotten to like Prizm draft. I did manage to open a cello box today too. Those are bad. Have possibility of on campus and some big numbered hits but without actually hitting those, they don’t seem great on value vs hangers and target megas

i agree it won't change the outcome, but maybe it would be a better general user experience to not even cart it. when people get to the last page and click the final submit button and suddenly their cart is cleared that is probably more confusing or frustrating than not being able to add it to cart.

I like that idea of being able to lockin stuff. Like a subscription program. Target has done away with the notify me basically. Basketball right now has so much less product. Everything has been easy to get.

Yeah got the stuff I ordered last week today. Opened a couple Prizm cellos, they are pretty meh. Opened a Chronicles mega too and those are pretty fun, although I’m sure the cards are not worth anything. Have built up a pretty big Trey Lance collection between the two products though and it’s cool to see all the variations
